Ubi Caritas

This piece is an anthem-length setting of the Latin antiphon text Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est. The musical setting features sophisticated harmonies and a variety of choral textures, including moments of solo singing across the sections. Traditionally part of music for Maundy Thursday, this evocative a cappella work is appropriately challenging for a mixed choral ensemble.
